It’s a story of two sets of brothers, one by blood and another by vocation and much of entertainment lies in the moral ambiguity of its main characters.
Ben Foster and Chris Pine deliver the best performances of their career thus far and Jeff Bridges is as excellent as always. There is also a strong socio-economic commentary on corporate greed and the resulting cycle of poverty that serves in enhancing this assured, sun-drenched New Texas experience.
