★★☆☆☆   – Meh!

Two siblings foraging for food and shelter in a ruined city meet a man who will make them a dangerous offer to survive the outside world.

Runtime: 1h 19min
Genre: Horror

This is the perfect example of sensationalist drivel masquerading as art. I’m not a prude. The perverse nature of the film or its violence is perfectly justified as long as there is a purpose. Without even the basic functional paradigm of a plot, this seems like the pretentious allegorical vision of your typical overzealous film student.

The visuals themselves are striking with some memorable and inspired photography. Even the dialogue can we rather poetic, but with no substantial context to hold it all together, the whole thing a tedious experience to get through.

Average audiences should steer clear. For the film students, this would be a masterclass in squandering potential and how NOT to make a film.
